Mac gets hyped up on nip (my excuse for him) and does the weirdest things. This time I caught him in the act. My camera is still new to me and I haven’t mastered how to be all Quentin Tarantino with it. The quality is crappy. I want to share it anyway. 
Lucien is keeping our local Culligan water in business. I’ve been trying to convince him he needs to get a job to help pay for it. No such luck!

Today marks 6 years since I brought my “Squeaky” girl Pandora home!
Though I can’t squeeze her and love on her properly today, (or any day) we spent most of the day curled up together on my recliner.
Happy Birthday you grumpy girl. Meowmie loves you and is greatful for everyday that you squeak at me, nudge my hands (while I sleep) for lovins’, protect me while I’m in the shower and from spiders and loves me no matter what.
This video is of Mimi stalking a spider on the ceiling. She is so intent on getting that spider, but things just didn’t work out for her, so in the end she gave up. Poor kitty…
I have a good excuse for being a slacker lately. I had Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass surgery January 13th. The entire month leading up to it was all sorts of testing, dieting, paperwork, referrals and oh, CHRISTMAS. I’m not even up to 50% yet, but wanted to acknowledge my babies before I take another nap.
It was a sunny Sunday afternoon that they were dropped off at my home and though I was apprehensive, I knew you’d stay. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAC AND MIMI. Meowmie loves you very much and would be lost without you. You have brought so much love, happiness and comic relief to our lives. With the exception of “missy pissy” Pandora (loves nobody but me) your adopted brother and sister love you too and in their own ways thank me for going out to the car and carrying you in to our home.

Lucien is the only one that I got the reindeer hat on. After the others saw this they ran for the hills. (actually they ran under the bed and into the bathtub)
The second I put ANYTHING on Elvira she flops on her side and lays there defeated looking. Sometimes she lays on her back with her paws up like she’s dead. Maybe she thinks if she plays dead I’ll leave her alone. NOT A CHANCE! Poor kitty!
Pandora is usually exempt from costume torture, but this time I caught her by surprise. Bwahahahaha!
Her growl is worse than her scratch. She’s probably the most cooperative of them all.

OH What a life! The only worries my fur-kids have is finding the perfect napping spot.
I really hope he grows out of it. Nobody likes tattle-TAILS. The other cats could care less though, because he’s not tattling on them, he’s tattling on himself!
I’m a night owl. I go to bed around 4 to 5 am. I sleep, or try to, until 2ish then I get up and get ready for work. Lately my sleep has been disrupted. All of a sudden I’ll hear a crash, or other types of kitty being bad noises. I’ll yell “WHO’S BEING NAUGHTY?” To my surprise I hear Lucien answer me with his “murrr murrr”, “urf urf” ,“mmmm mmmm” (yes, my cat whines). I roll out of bed and sure enough, Lucien is on the counter, in a plant, behind the couch where Steve keeps work stuff, or terrorizing his siblings. I’ll yell at him to knock it off and then stomp back to bed. The little brat will follow me, wait until I’ve settled in bed nicely, then he’ll jump on my chest and head-bonk me and give me “I’m sorry” licks on my face. GAH! Being mad at a cat is just not possible! Well, until he does it again.
